There is no normal meetup this Saturday because we have a HUGE MANNAM event! Bring your friends and family for a great time with tons to get involved in. Plus, watch and be a part of the basketball tournament we are hosting! It's gonna be a blast!

Last Saturdays practice was overcast but plenty hot!  We had a few new faces and had a great time scrimmaging.  About half way through practice though, we were notified that there were students taking an exam at the school, so we had to play almost silent basketball.  No shouting out picks and help D, just whispering!  No regular Saturday practice this coming week as we have the Mannam Ultimate Challenge. Had a nice sized crew today. The weather was super hot...but we managed to get quite a few fun and competitive games in without dying. Had people from: USA, Korea, Singapore, China, and the Philippines. 

Here it is. Not too far from the station. Really nice clean court. Solid hoops. Fun times. See you out there!

This past Saturday was our first practice at our new location, we had a great time.  Not only is it closer to Apgujeong exit 6 but the courts are nice with a lot of traction.  A little short-handed, we worked on our shooting and then had a friendly scrimmage game against some of the other players on the adjacent courts.  Hopefully, we can see you there next week! 

With our short-handed team of 6 players this week, we won our first game 56-44, but lost our second one 31-33. It was a lot of fun! Playing league is not mandatory for Mannam basketball team members, but for those of you who like to play aggressive high pace basketball, it's a great way to go. Otherwise, come to the Saturday practices for a more "friendly" atmosphere.

It rained, but we played basketball nonetheless! It was more like slow-motion basketball as we had to be careful with cutting and high speeds on the slippery court. We had a good time with the SK Filipino team. Hopefully they will come out again next Saturday for some sunny weather basketball.

Announcement: Thursday (April 26) we will have a league game in the evening. I've got two extra jerseys for the first two people who contact me (who don't have their own jersey) to use for this league game. I'll post the game location/time/map by Monday.

This Saturday we will be hosting a Filipino Team at our Apgujeong Station practice location. It's going to be a lot of fun just working on our skills and meeting new people.
After practice (for those willing) we will head to the Bukhansan Preservation Project, a Mannam sponsored event, to volunteer as a team alongside hundreds of other foreigners. Hope you can join us!

Was a really great eight person practice. We had a lot of fun hustling around and playing full court. The sun was bright and shining; tanned nicely. Afterwards we headed over to the Mannam sponsored "10km in Their Shoes" event.
